A trip to Taiwan’s Taipei City, saw representatives from UK ISAR attend not only the 2023 Disaster Management Conference, but also gain a key insight to the New Taipei City Government Fire Departments capabilities and their overall
understanding of International Search & Rescue operations.
During the time in Taiwan every opportunity was taken to share
experiences and key learnings between both teams, seeking to strengthen not only operational readiness, but also international relationships.
During the time spent with the Taipei Fire Department outside of the conference itself, there were a number of presentations delivered. These offered an insight to the work currently being delivered by UK ISAR and the key learnings taken from our recent training and deployments.
