UK ISAR received a request from the Moroccan government, seeking their expertise in responding to a devastating earthquake. Without hesitation, UK ISAR deployed 62 dedicated team members, accompanied by three highly trained search and rescue dogs, they swiftly mobilised and journeyed to Morocco to provide their invaluable assistance. Their mission was to offer aid to the injured, locate survivors trapped beneath the rubble of collapsed structures, and bring hope to an isolated area nestled in the rugged mountains of Asni.
For nine days, the team worked tirelessly, navigating through blocked roads and braving the challenging terrain to reach remote villages within the Commune Anougal region. Their unwavering commitment to this humanitarian mission not only saved lives but also exemplified the power of international solidarity during times of crisis. As they left no stone unturned to provide relief and support, this remarkable team demonstrated the essence of unity and resilience in the face of adversity.
