The Emergency Services Show 2023

September 25, 2023

September 2023

The recent attendance of UK ISAR at The Emergency Show 2023 held at the NEC Birmingham was a resounding success.

The team stall received significant attention, drawing in a diverse crowd of attendees, where valuable networking opportunities flourished.

UK ISAR team member Chris Jowett from Lancashire FRS, showcased the drones used by the team, explaining their crucial role in enhancing search and rescue operations. This demonstration shed light on the innovative approaches adopted by UK ISAR.

The event was also a platform to showcase the remarkable search and rescue
canines Millie and Luna, who have been instrumental in the UK ISAR efforts.

As a highlight, the event featured a presentation titled ‘Good to Great’ delivered by the Innovation & Research Officer, Jonah Boyce.

Looking ahead, UK ISAR aims to return in 2024 with an even more substantial presence, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
