UK ISAR team members have recently returned from a week in Tajikistan, where they delivered capacity-building in Search and Rescue operations.
Working alongside the Committee of Emergency Situations (COES) and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), our team shared knowledge, strengthened partnerships, and supported the development of local response capabilities.
Representatives from Kent Fire and Rescue Service, London Fire Brigade, South Wales Fire & Rescue Service, Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, and Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service took part in the programme, demonstrating the collaborative spirit and dedication of UK ISAR.
As the UK Government’s official response to international disasters, UK ISAR remains committed to building resilient, capable partners worldwide. It was a privilege to work alongside such dedicated colleagues and committed partners, ensuring we are ready to respond wherever we are needed.
