A UK ISAR team recently embarked on a successful scoping mission to Tajikistan, focused on exploring future capacity-building opportunities in the region. With exceptional support from the British Embassy in Dushanbe, the team had the opportunity to meet with key officials, including the Ambassador, Deputy Head of Mission, and leaders from the Committee of Emergency Situations (COES).
The trip was marked by a warm welcome and valuable access to training facilities and the Emergency Operations Centre, which contributed significantly to the success of the trip. The collaboration between UK ISAR, COES, and the British Embassy highlights the strength of international partnerships in enhancing emergency response capabilities.
A huge thank you to COES and the British Embassy for their invaluable support in making this mission a success. Together, we are advancing efforts to strengthen disaster response and resilience in Tajikistan.
